Well, we made it to Guangzhou. A long day with not a lot to write about. Leah was a little afraid to fly, but made it through like the uncomplaining trooper she is. Take off was the worst for her. She didn't seem to like to see the buildings below. For a little while Leah and Dad were sharing one seat -- his. Once we were in the clouds she was great. She turned into an excited non-stop talker for the remainder of the flight. A good part of the conversation focused learning the English words for things. Leah's idea, not ours. Apparently, she is having no problems leaving Chongqing behind her.
The China Hotel is OK. The rooms are small, our modest girl wasn't sure about the window in the bathroom, and our reservations were completely messed up. As I said, Leah is a country girl and Shaiman Island would have been a much better place for her. Crowds are not her thing. But, here we are and happy to say that we are on the last leg of this trip.
Since there is only one photo from today, I'll put a few more in from yesterday. Enjoy the pic of the second room with a crib for Leah. Apparently only babies are adopted from China.
The last photo may be a little puzzling. Yes, those are Dad's hands. "Little" Leah has him wrapped around her finger.
