We are now down to two days before we travel. Our thoughts are finally focusing more on Leah than all the practical things. I guess that’s good and bad...We are so excited at the thought of finally meeting our daughter. We are so nervous at the thought of finally meeting her.
This is the giant leap of faith called adoption. We strongly feel that God brought Leah to us. He takes circumstances that on the face of them are not great and makes something beautiful out of them…Beauty for ashes. So, we are stepping out in faith and trusting that things will turn out just as they should. Not necessarily how we think they should.
I guess all that might sound like we expect things to go badly, which couldn’t be further from the truth. We know more of Leah than we did for either of our other girls. From all we know, she sounds like an amazing daughter and sister. We can’t wait to meet her and find out. Leah, here we come!
